What is your favorite quote or mantra?
“I never think of myself as an icon. What is in other people's minds is not in my mind. I just do my thing.”-Audrey Hepburn and my mantra for myself is "maintain a positive mindset, believe in yourself, and never stop smiling". It has certainly worked for me so far! :)

What are some must-read books that have inspired/changed you? Why?
Eckhart Tolle's "A Whole New Earth" certainly sparked a huge change in me to see my consciousness in a whole new light in just about every facet of my life. Another book that had me see the trajectory for my life, as well as my past, in a whole new light is "Untethered Soul" by Michael Singer. Both books shed light on how you can tap into your raw soul to find who you really are, despite of any outside factors and how you can truly find your joy and your place in this life. Those concepts have helped in my most recent years and tough times to shape who I am today.

Do you have any films that have inspired/changed you? Why?
Blackfish had a huge impact on me, especially since I grew up going to Seaworld basically every year with my family. It made me see animals made for entertainment purposes in a whole new light. I was vegetarian when I saw it, but afterwards, it had me looking more into transitioning to a vegan diet, as I clearly saw more of the correlation to a lifestyle approach to saving animals outside of just not eating meat.

Who/what inspires you? Why?
Audrey Hepburn has always been my role model and inspiration since I was a little girl raised on black and white movies. Her undeniable class, charm, and unique style always stuck out to me as someone who was so comfortable in their own skin and never seemed to falter from it. She was smart, fun, creative, stylish, and an overall kind soul to everyone around her. That's what I aim to be with every day and I owe it to her for setting the stage.

What are some of your advice/tips for being a Compassionate Citizen?Compassion starts within. I have seen that to truly be able to show and be compassionate to others, whether they be humans or animals, we must first learn to love ourselves. Once we love being in our own skin, we are able be the most compassionate. So before you seek to help others, though it is very noble, I say look inwards and be kind. You will be so surprised at how much of an impact you can have on the animals and the world at large when you're able to radiate love from within.
